INDMO, I.P. hosts the 1st Timor-Leste International Skills Week in the last mid-4th quarter of 2023.

Dili, August 12, 2023 – Ms. Isabel Fernandes de Lima, the Director INDMO, I.P., recently presented the progress and results of the annual action plan for 2023, along with the budget expenses, to His Excellency Mr. Francisco Kalbuadi Lay, the Vice Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, and Minister of Tourism and Environment. During the presentation, the director also announced the upcoming 1st Timor-Leste International Skills Week to be hosted in Dili, from 23 to 27 October 2023. Additionally, the importance of sending competitors to the World Skills Asia competition in Abu Dhabi this year was emphasized. The director highlighted the priorities of INDMO, I.P. for the next five years and provided recommendations for the relevant departments and private sector to contribute towards building a quality, resilient, and future-ready workforce. One of the key priorities outlined by INDMO, I.P. is promoting decent work and reducing unemployment and informal jobs. The presentation was made during the meeting between Minister Kalbuadi Lay and all autonomous agencies under his auspices as per 9th Constitutional Government organic law.
